For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Never Inked 1986 Sailor 75th Anniversary Carbon Fiber Fountain Pen fitted with a 14K Medium Gold Nib. This Fountain Pen has never been inked, comes with all the original boxes and documentation, and I consider it in Excellent, New Old Stock Condition.

In 1986, the 75th Anniversary year of Sailor, they created and introduced SAILOR 75th Anniversary Profit. The fountain pen was released in 1986 to commemorate Sailor's 75th anniversary. This limited edition pen was crafted from carbon fiber with gold-plated trim and features the Sailor anchor logo with the number "75" on the cap, along with the inscription "With 75 years of history" on the cap ring. 

This Sailor cap and barrel are in perfect condition with no cracks, nicks, scratches, or repairs. I will point out that there is a manufacturing defect at the start of the barrel, see image 8, where the lacquer looks like an air bubble. There is no damage, and the area is not compromised or pulling away from the carbon fiber; it is just a visual manufacturing defect. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel via a friction fit. The fountain pen measures 5 5/8" inches in length capped, 6 3/8" inches posted, has a 13.72mm in diameter at the cap band, and weighs .86 ounces. 

The Nib is 14K gold and marked, "75 with the Sailor Anchor and chains logo, 14K, Sailor". Stamped on the shoulder of the NIB is the letter, "M" for a Medium nib point. The actual tipping measures .73mm when measured with digital calipers. The nib is two-tone with black rhodium plating. This fountain pen has never been inked.

The Sailor uses an ink converter to fill the pen. I have tested it with water, and it works as it was designed. It also used ink cartridges, which are included in the presentation box.

This Sailor comes with the original 75th Anniversary box, all the Sailor Literature, bottle ink, ink cartridges, and polishing cloth. 

The Sailor 75th Anniversary Fountain Pen was a manufacturing genius at that time by using the lightweight carbon fiber material. This fountain pen has never been inked.
