For your consideration, we are offering for sale this NEAR MINT Sheaffer Intrigue Fountain Pen in the Blue Whale Shark Pattern with 14K Solid Gold Inlay Nib. This fountain pen is in Near Mint Condition.

NOTE: Sheaffer manufactured this pen and design from 2000 to 2004.

This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Intrigue Fountain Pen. It is like new as it has only been inked to capture a writing example. The cap is brushed chrome with a portion of the barrel brushed chrome with blue and white whale shark pattern. The barrel is stamped with "SHEAFFER USA". This Sheaffer has an ink converter filling unit and works as it was designed to - I tested with water and works perfectly.

The cap and barrel are in perfect condition with no cracks, nicks, scratches, or repairs. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel. The trim is perfect with no scratches or wear. This fountain pen measures 5 3/8" capped and 5 1/2" posted.

The nib is marked 14K Sheaffer 585 and has a medium point measuring .72mm when using digital calipers.
