This Montblanc also is marked Germany which we can date this pen to post 1990. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks, or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap has the gorgeous Gold Filled Clip and Cap Banding which, display absolutely no brassing. The cap banding is stamped with, \"MONTBLANC MIESTERSTUCK. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the barrel or cap. The barrel still retains the original, \"F GERMANY\" sticker. This Montblanc 144 Fountain Pen measures 5 5\/8\" in length capped and 6\" posted. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis Montblanc has the original Montblanc Ink Converter. I have tested the converter filling mechanism with water and fills as it should. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Montblanc NIB is a 14K\/585 Bi-Color NIB. The 14K Montblanc NIB has a fine point measuring roughly 0.58mm when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample provided in the image has a line variation ranging from .65mm to .88 when measured with digital calipers. This NIB writes extremely smoothly and such a pleasure to write with. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Montblanc Black Ink. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Montblanc 144 comes with a Montblanc box and Literature. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis is a wonderful example of a Classic Montblanc No. 144 Fountain Pen.
