All the metal fittings on this pen are Platinum plated and polished to shine brightly. The solid, spring-loaded clip functions most excellently.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e This pen measures 5 3\/16\" inches capped and 6 3\/8\" inches posted. The 18-carat gold rhodium-plated nib is made by hand and comes in the MEDIUM designated width that writes extremely smoothly. The nib ranges from a medium (.72mm) to a double broad (1.29mm) when measured with digital calipers. The nib was dipped in Parker Quink Blue Ink to perform the writing sample seen in the images.
