EDWARD JENKINS #5 ARTIST SEMI-FLEX F-BB 14K FOUNTAIN PEN NIB

For your consideration, we offer for sale this Edward Jenkins #5 14K Artist Nib.

The Nib is marked, "EDWARD JENKINS 5 BALTIMORE ".

The Nib point/iridium has a fine point measuring .70mm when measuring with digital calipers. When creating a writing sample the nib will write with a fine to double broad line variation (.55mm to 1.40mm). 

The actual dimensions of the nib measure 31.66mm in height and 7.65mm at the widest point of the shoulders.

Edward Jenkins had a pen shop in the '40s and '50s in Baltimore. The nibs were used to build custom pens in the basement of his store for artists. He also used his nibs to replace broken nibs on pens in for repair. These are very scarce nibs, especially in a #5 size.
