The eyes of the snake on both the cap and barrel has red glass that adds a great detail to the pen. This fountain pen measures 5 5\/8\" in length capped and 6 3\/8\" posted. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe pen comes with a German steel nib with a medium point measuring .86mm when measured with digital calipers. The filling system will use an cartridge convertor or cartridges.
