Polished the Gold Electroplate Clip, Cap, and Barrel. I have cleaned the Octanium Nib, Feed\/Stem, and Section. This Parker 45 is a Flighter Deluxe model made between 1965 and 1969 with the Black Tail. This Parker 45 measures 5 3\/8\" capped and 5 3\/4\" posted.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no dings, dents, or repairs with the slip cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The Cap Lip is stamped with, \"PARKER 45 MADE IN U.S.A. with Parker Logo\". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Parker 45 has an ink converter filling unit and I have tested it with water and fills as it should. It is a Parker factory ink converter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Parker 45 is fitted with an Octanium\/Steel nib and is a very good writer. When measuring the actual tip of the nib, it measures at .55mm when measuring with digital calipers - or a fine nib point. The nib will write within a range of a fine stroke\/line of .53mm to a medium line of .74mm when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample provided in the listing images was completed with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue Ink.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Parker 45 Flighter Deluxe Fountain Pen is a great workhorse fountain pen that is also a fantastic writer.
