There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. The pencil barrel is stamped with, \"W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO FORT MADISON, IOWA U.S.A. MADE IN THE U.S.A.\" This Sheaffer Pencil measures 5\" in length.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cap will twist and the lead will propel from the nose cone and turning the opposite way will retract the lead back inside.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Sheaffer Snorkel Pencil in the High-Cachet Vermilion Color. These are extremely scarce to find in this color and even more so when the barrel still is chalk marked with the original price. Finding a Vermilion Pencil is probably more difficult to secure than the Fountain Pen. This pencil is in ready-to-write condition or just add to your writing arsenal collection.
