The gold-filled trim is in beautiful, highly polished condition - just a slight wear on the edge of the ball on the clip. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. The pencil barrel is stamped on the opposite side of the clip with, \"SHEAFFER'S MADE IN U.S.A. PAT'D IN U.S.A.\" This Sheaffer Pencil measures 5 5\/8\" in length.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cap will twist and the lead will propel from the nose cone and turning the opposite way will retract the lead back inside. Even though the eraser is worn in the image, I found a new replacement and added it to the pencil.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe lead is 1.1mm type. There is one stick in the chamber of the pencil. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Sheaffer Jade Pencil is the perfect complement to the fountain pen. These are tough to find in this vibrant Jade coloring.
