2003 WATERMAN IDEAL LEMAN 100 w/18K MEDIUM NIB FOUNTAIN PEN MINT IN BOX

For your consideration, we are pleased to offer for sale this Circa 2003 Waterman LeMan 100 Fountain Pen in classic Jet Black with gold-plated trim, fitted with an 18K solid gold Medium nib. This example is presented in mint condition, complete with a Waterman factory box and papers.

The cap and barrel are exceptionally well preserved, exhibiting no wear, nicks, cracks, dings, dents, or scratches. The 23K gold-plated clip is hallmarked at the end, and the section is stamped with the serial number 866305. The cap secures firmly when capped and posts securely, reflecting the precision and build quality for which the LeMan line is known. There are no monograms or personalizations present on either the cap or barrel.

Manufactured in France, this LeMan 100 was originally purchased in 2003. It measures 5 5/8 inches capped and 6 3/4 inches posted, offering a substantial yet well-balanced presence in hand.

This pen accepts Waterman ink cartridges or a converter and is accompanied by the original Waterman-branded ink converter.

The nib is an 18K / 750 solid gold Waterman “Ideal” nib, stamped PARIS, with a medium point. Tipping measures approximately .79 mm using a digital caliper. The pen has been dip-tested only to produce a writing sample and delivers a very smooth, consistent line, ranging from approximately .75 mm to .86 mm. It is a pleasure to write with and perform exactly as one would expect from a high-quality Waterman nib.

The pen is housed in its original factory box, which remains in excellent condition, and includes the original Waterman booklet.
