For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 1999 Sheaffer Legacy White Dot Black Laque with 23K Gold Electroplated trim Ballpoint Pen. This pen has a new ink refill cartridge. The pen has never been used and I consider it in Mint Condition - New Old Stock.
This Sheaffer Legacy 1 displays a hand-applied Black Laque Cap & Barrel finish. The cap and barrel have absolutely no damage, dents, or wear to the finish. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel. This ballpoint pen has a new ink refill provided. This Legacy writing instrument is a Sheaffer Legacy 1 Ballpoint Pen and the model number 840-2. Production started in 1995 and lasted until 1999 for this model. The Black Laque cap is accented with 23K gold electroplated trim and the spring-loaded clip which is stamped, "SHEAFFER USA" on the sides of the clip. This Sheaffer Legacy Ballpoint Pen measures 5 1/2" inches in length.
This Sheaffer has a blue refill cartridge (which has been included) and extends by twisting the cap. I tested this pen and it works perfectly.
The pen comes with the original Sheaffer Box, the plastic sleeve the pen came in, and Sheaffer Legacy documentation/literature.
This Sheaffer Legacy Ballpoint has a great look and feel with a fantastic design. It is a larger/girthier size pen so it feels substantial in the hand.
