For your consideration, we are pleased to offer for sale this circa 1998 Sheaffer Connaisseur Transparent Blue fountain pen with Palladium plated trim and fitted with a 14K Fine nib, presented in New Old Stock, Mint, Never Inked condition and complete with its original boxes with Sheaffer Literature, and ink converter.

This model was produced as part of the Levenger Sea Series 2 and carries model designation 819-0F. It has remained carefully stored in its original box since new and has never been inked, preserving its factory-fresh condition for the next collector.

The translucent Blue resin is simply striking—clear, vibrant, and luminous, beautifully complemented by the palladium-plated trim. The cap band is crisply stamped “SHEAFFER’S LEVENGER U.S.A.” The finish on both cap and barrel is flawless, free from nicks, chips, cracks, wear, or repairs. The cap bears Sheaffer’s iconic White Dot, symbolizing the company’s lifetime guarantee, and secures firmly to the barrel. There are no monograms or personalizations. The pen measures approximately 5 5/8 inches capped, 6 1/2 inches posted, and weighs .82 ounces, offering a comfortable, balanced writing presence.

The trim is palladium-plated, all highly polished and exceptionally well preserved. The pen is fitted with a 14K solid gold palladium-plated Fine nib, measuring approximately 0.59mm when checked with digital calipers. The nib remains untouched by ink, maintaining its pristine New Old Stock status. As expected of Sheaffer’s Connaisseur line, the nib promises a smooth, confident writing experience once put into service.

The pen accepts Sheaffer cartridges or bottled ink via the included converter, which remains unused and ready for filling.

Included with the pen are the original factory boxes, the unused ink converter, and Sheaffer literature. Everything included in this offering remains in great condition.
